When I first came to Japan, I was surprised at some of the mainstream marketing methods here. Amongst them were tissues giveaways, repetitive BGMs, cute handmade signs, and streamers.
These don’t really exist in Western Europe, so when Eiken suddenly sent us our very first streamer, I couldn’t help but feel a little excited. The flagpole purchased online arrived quickly, but with very limited space in front of the school’s entrance, I had to improvise. It is currently attached to the water spout. I wonder how long it can survive weather damage.
By the way, remember to always check your school events calendar before registering for the Eiken test. The dates sometimes coincide with school events like sports festivals.
